Decorating Magic

image3
If you haven’t stopped in VH lately, come visit and take a look at the new back room! We pulled it together pretty quickly–our secret? Using a neutral palette and classic furniture in styles we love– and it all works together with ease! In this room we draped the ceiling to hide fluorescent, and added lots of

Mirrors, Lamps, and Architectural Tiles.
Leslie worked her magic and pulled in lots of pillows and upholstery to soften things up–and voila! A new cozy spot for discovery at Vintage Home—

Although we also think it would be a great place to sneak in a nap! But there’s no napping at VH–unless you are Twinkle or Boo.

Best desserts this week? Creme brûlée at Oyster Club or the handmade coconut/almond/chocolate chip ice cream up in Boothbay Harbor at Downeast Ice Cream Factory. Both amazing choices!

Happy Hunting In Maine

Headed to Maine for my 39th high school reunion hosted by classmate at her”camp”–how fun! Really headed to Maine just for the reunion, but a little hunting is always fun when you’re in a new neck of the woods…

Weren’t we lucky to stumble in to the Boothbay Harbor antiques show? There were some very pricey New England antiques, but we managed to score a few fun Maine finds–
