New England Food Tour

Sometimes you just have to let your eyes feast on food that speaks for itself–here are some recent favorites from travels this week–

Lobster Roll (everywhere in Maine) and also excellent at Anthony’s Seafood in Newport RI
Breakfast hash in Boothbay Harbor Maine at Waves–healthy and delicious veggies scrambled with potatoes and fried eggs nestled beside.
I love that when they ran out of home fries and a couple other items they just closed their doors for the day. Quintessential New England!

Farm/Sea-to-Table took an upscale turn with roasted blackfish at The Oyster Club in Mystic CT
Best desserts this week? Creme brûlée at Oyster Club or the handmade coconut/almond/chocolate chip ice cream up in Boothbay Harbor at Downeast Ice Cream Factory. Both amazing choices!
